What a year for a new year?! I think we are all ready to turn the corner for a brighter year ahead.

Despite everything, I'm lucky that 2021 has been a remarkable year. I tell anyone who will listen that it has been full of hard won lessons... and at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade the knowledge and experience gained for anything. 

​

As we take this time to both reflect back and look ahead, I'm sharing here an album of favorite 2021 pics. A quick highlight guide to the year (some pictured, some not :) --

• Turning 40 alongside some of my best-est pals!

• Travels to Arizona, Tennessee, Clear Lake, IA + Nebraska, and Chicago for a writers retreat!

• Releasing Meet Uncle Paul + spending time with the man, the myth, the legend!

• The fountain of eternal youth that are my beloved nieces

​

• The restorative and silly joys of spending time with my parents and family

​

• The dinners, cocktails, coffees, and more that I have shared with countless people I adore!

Looking ahead, my goals for the new year to take more trips, find a little more financial stability (but travel is clearly the priority ;), help folks and small businesses in meaningful ways, digitize & organize my photo collection, and kick it all off with a cliche but needed January sugar & alcohol detox (I don't mind if you don't want to talk to me til February, Mom & Dad (or anyone)!).
